Probably the most stunning lagoon-based activity at the Resort is the world-class snorkelling, so breathtaking that guests compare it to that of the Maldives or Australia's Great Barrier Reef. What makes the snorkelling even more incredible is that you can walk straight off the beach and see an amazing underwater wonderland of Moorish Idols, Wrasse, butterfly, parrot and angel fish, all in chest-deep water protected naturally by the reef! On offer at the Resort are complimentary snorkelling lessons and excursions, plus other activities as listed below. Also available are complimentary Give-Scuba-A-Go sessions in the swimming pool.
SpaPolynesia: offers a comprehensive range of treatments to restore and replenish. Imagine relaxing to the touch of a 'Mirimiri' Aromatherapy Full Body Massage, being revived by a 'Moana' AquaMarine Salt Body Rub, being enveloped by a 'SpaPolynesia' ThalassoAlgae Body Wrap, treating your feet to a 'Vaevae' SpaPedicure, enjoying the afterglow of a 'Pa'i' Hydrating Facial, or opting for one of the fabulous range of Rejuvenation, Relaxation or Romance Packages to pamper you in Paradise!
Children: The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa offers the Cook Islands' only kids club, the Moko's Kids Club, named after the cheeky moko - or gecko - which intrigues all children in Rarotonga. The combination of The Rarotongan's stunning natural setting on a white sand beach and clear blue lagoon, along with the outstanding Kids Club, makes for a perfect vacation destination for families. The lagoon is a marine sanctuary (no fishing allowed) protected from the open ocean by a coral reef, making it ideal for fish feeding and snorkelling directly off the beach, as well as affording excellent kayaking and all-tide swimming. Access to the beach is easy from all guestrooms and suites, especially from ground-floor Beachfront Rooms, Beachfront Suites and the Grand Beachfront Suite, where the sand is literally "on your doorstep'! The Rarotongan is truly an unbeatable family holiday location.

Weddings

Rarotonga, the heart of the South Pacific and one of the most romantic places on Earth, is popular with couples from all four corners of the globe looking for a special place to exchange their vows.
There are a number of different spots on the island where a couple can choose to tie the knot, but it would be hard to go past a long white sandy beach on the shores of Aroa Lagoon, on Rarotonga's sunshine southwest coast. In native Cook Islands Maori the name means the 'Lagoon of Love', and it's easy to see why. Swaying palm trees, turquoise sea lapping the pale sandy shore, the setting sun turning the whole scene golden as another day at the edge of time draws to a close. Pretty much your everyday stereotype of the idyllic South Seas
